Seattle Wedding Photography | Destination WeddingsThis is Cory and Phuong. They had their wedding ceremony and reception in Vietnam. Their wedding was in Saigon, or Ho Chi Minh City, which is in South Vietnam. They traveled north to Hoi'an for a few days of rest and relaxation after their really nice Vietnamese Destination wedding. They are surrounded by palm trees and a building in the background. The building is a hotel. They are kissing on the beach on the white sands of Vietnam. We wanted to show their love towards each other, and Phong, who is a native to Vietnam knows the area well. She is a wedding dress designer. I love how they stand out from the background. You can totally tell this picture was taken with a Canon 5D Mark III with a 50mm f1.2 lens. To get images like this, we simply tell our bride an groom to relax. Take a deep breath and forget the camera is there. The only difficulty with this image was the heat. With the Vietnam summers, it was fairly hot that day, and Cory had on a black suit. Phuong's dress was very lightweight, so she wasn't as hot. This picture was taken in March, 2014, which is the end of the southern hemisphere summer. We wanted to take this picture because they are kissing on the white sandy beaches of Vietnam. This picture screams destination wedding, with the tropical ambiance. Events by Heather & Ryan, a destination wedding photographer located in Marysville, Washington traveled with them to their destination.
Location: Hoi'An, Vietnam. 1/2000; f/2.8; ISO 400; 110.0 mm.
